PSG have reportedly joined the race for Manchester United star Romelu Lukaku’s signature as his future continues to become more and more uncertain.
The Belgian appears to be set to play his football next season elsewhere with Inter Milan the main interested party until now.
Antonio Conte was said to be keen on signing the striker after failing to bring him in during his time at Chelsea.
The Italian was then confirmed as Inter’s manager, sparking even more speculation over Lukaku’s next destination.
However, it appears they may have to fight off PSG for the former Everton man which suits United’s desire to sell him at the best possible price.
According to the Express, PSG have joined the race for Romelu’s signature as they hope to replace the potentially outgoing Edison Cavani with him.
The issues with offloading the powerful forward are obvious; even with the French champions involved, no one is too keen on parting ways with the necessary money.
Manchester United paid an extraordinary amount to sign Lukaku and will be hoping to recoup most, if not all, of the transfer fee.
Further complicating the matter is the player’s actual salary which neither club is keen to sign.
