Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reportedly has a plan for Paul Pogba’s potential departure this summer.
The Frenchman is believed to be one of numerous players who will be considering their futures should Old Trafford fail to see Champions League nights next season.
Though that is one factor, the midfielder is also said to be keen on signing for Real Madrid as they are more likely to win trophies.
Pogba is also an admirer of Zinedine Zidane, admitting earlier in the season it would be a dream to play under him for the Spanish side.
Solskjaer will have a massive hole in midfield should the former Juventus man leave but it appears he has a plan in place.
According to the Sun, the Red Devils will turn to Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen as Paul’s replacement should he depart for Real Madrid.
The Dane would add serious quality to Ole’s side and there’s no doubt he would be a decent option to bring in.
Though Pogba has potential, Eriksen is a tried and tested Premier League star who performs on a consistent basis.
Most of the criticism levelled at the Manchester United academy product is that he isn’t consistent enough so perhaps stealing one of Spurs’ best players wouldn’t be such a bad idea.
