Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri has claimed that he will stay at Juventus another year – providing the club doesn’t sack him.
He was seen by many Arsenal fans as the ideal replacement for Arsene Wenger but it seems as if Massimiliano Allegri’s name can be scratched off the list.
The Juventus boss has spoken about the possibility of him leaving the Italian giants and suggested that he will look to stay.
“If they don’t fire me, then I think I’m staying at Juventus next year too,” Allegri said after the 0-0 draw with Roma which secured Juventus’ seventh consecutive Serie A title.
“It’s not an issue of decisions on the future, it’s about planning what the future of Juventus will be because once we’ve finished celebrating, we have to sit around a table with clear heads,” he continued.
“When the next season begins, we all start from zero points and must continue proving we are competitive.”
Max Allegri has had tremendous success with Juventus, securing three consecutive domestic doubles with the Italian giants. He would be a fantastic replacement for Arsene Wenger but it seems as if he is staying in Serie A. Things can change but for now, it’s unlikely that he will become the next manager of Arsenal.
