Nottingham Forest are eyeing up a move for Chelsea defender Jake Clarke-Salter in January.
According to The Nottingham Post, Nottingham Forest manager Mark Warburton is a keen admirer of the defender and is looking at a potential move for him next month.
Chelsea are looking to send Clarke-Salter out on loan until the end of the season, with Nottingham Forest one of many suitors.
Norwich City came close to landing the centre back in the summer, before Chelsea decided he would not get the minutes they wanted him to.
Clarke-Salter has featured in one match for Chelsea’s senior side this season, which was a League Cup win over Nottingham Forest.
Warburton was clearly impressed by the opposition defender, and now wants him to join his side for the second half of the season.
Nottingham Forest are 11th in the Championship and pushing for a play-off place, with Clarke-Salter being eyed to improve their defensive solidity.
