Chelsea could use out-of-favour striker Michy Batshuayi as part of a deal to sign Thomas Lemar from AS Monaco in January.
The Telegraph reports that Chelsea are looking into a deal for January to give Antonio Conte more options in the final third.
Batshuayi has been unable to hold down a regular place in the Chelsea squad this season, with Conte favouring a false nine, in the form of Eden Hazard instead of the striker when Alvaro Morata has been unavailable.
Michael Emenalo, who is now the sporting director at Monaco, is said to be a big fan of the Belgian striker and could look to bring him to France in the new year.
Emenalo played a big role in bringing the former Marseille man to Stamford Bridge, but under Conte, Batshuayi has found chances limited.
Monaco were linked with a move for the striker in the summer but after Chelsea failed to complete a deal for Fernando Llorente they decided to keep hold of Batshuayi to provide competition for Morata.
