Stolen Bruno's limelight: Man United fans rave over match-winning midfielder

Manchester United fans couldn’t contain their happiness with Scott McTominay after his sensational performance vs Leeds United.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men crushed Leeds United in a manner that frankly many were not expecting and it was thanks to the tenacious midfielder that it happened.

McTominay wasn’t the only fine performer but he was man of the match and deservedly so after scoring twice and assisting once.

The tall Scotsman grabbed both his goals within three minutes of the opening stages of the crucial clash and it provided the perfect platform for the big win.

The Red Devils ran out 6-2 victors in a match that sends them to third in the Premier League table with a game in hand.

McTominay has been solid this season but hasn’t given fans anything to rave about in comparison to perhaps his debut season under Jose Mourinho.

He has since developed as a player but has largely gone under the radar when discussing Manchester United’s most improved players under Solskjaer.

However, with a performance like that, it’s unlikely he’ll be out of the starting XI anytime soon and hopefully it signals a start to him permanently keeping his place.

It’ll be tough to do in a midfield brimming with talent but he is among the youngest in that group and should eventually fight off his competition.
