Former Manchester United player Quintone Fortune has said just what fans were thinking about Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, comparing him to Sir Alex Ferguson.
The Norwegian has taken over as caretaker manager from Jose Mourinho and has done so to great effect so far.
After defeating Brighton 2-1, United have now won seven out of all seven games of his era so far with supporters happier than ever this season.
Solskjaer couldn’t have wished for a better start to his managerial career with his former club and there have now been calls for him to be given the job permanently.
The Red Devils have the likes of Zinedine Zidane and Mauricio Pochettino on their managerial shortlist but they may have to wait for their chance at this rate.

Many supporters feel the same way as Fortune, believing there’s still work to be done but the tactics and style of play are reminiscent of Sir Alex’s era.
Perhaps one of the key reasons that is the case is due to Mike Phelan returning amongst the club’s staff with Ole.
The former assistant manager was Ferguson’s second-hand man during the latter years of the Scot’s career.
Either way, if Solskjaer can somehow squeeze Manchester United into the top four there’s no real reason not to hire him permanently.
