Manchester United fans were ecstatic with Marcus Rashford‘s performance vs Brighton after his goalscoring display.
The Englishman kept up his good form and will likely continue to keep Romelu Lukaku out of the starting XI in the near future.
Rashford’s dynamism and movement has put him ahead of the rather static Belgian and rewarded Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s faith.
Paul Pogba won his own penalty and converted it to give United the lead but it was the youngster who made matters a little more comfortable.
Marcus grabbed the second of the game and arguably could’ve had more on a different day.
Stunning goal from @MarcusRashford. Great to see him back on track under a manager that embraces his prodigious talent.

Rashford has been in very good form for the last two or three months but has added some unreal finishing in the last few weeks. On this form the likes of Lukaku and Sanchez better get used to the bench. Wonderful stuff.

Rashford reminding everyone how special he is in the last couple couple of months has put Martial in the shade some what. But no need for comparisons. Two young gems that need to be absolutely central to the future of the club over the coming years.

2018/2019 is now Marcus Rashford’s best season in terms of league goals (8).
Coming of age in style.

There is absolutely no point even discussing Lukaku at this rate. The quality of that Rashford goal is arguably beyond him. Rashford's been excellent fior #mufc since that miss against Young Boys.

Rashford is mint, isn't he? 41 goals and 23 assists so far in 150 United appearances.#MUFC #MUNBHA

Rashford’s cool finish was certainly impressive but it was his overall link-up play that was even more crucial.
The academy product has definitely benefitted from playing as a central striker frequently and is putting in his best performances in a red shirt.
Marcus and Lukaku could form a deadly partnership up top but on current form the former is ahead of him in the pecking order on merit.
With the Red Devils picking up some serious momentum, the 21 year old has proven central to their good form and has quickly become a key player.
