Manchester United star Marcus Rashford was in fine form vs Partizan Belgrade but in truth he didn’t get everything he deserved despite netting a goal.
The young Englishman was sensational and at one point it almost looked as though it would be a frustrating night for him.
Luckily he and United both went up the gears and managed a comfortable 3-0 win to wrap up qualification into the next round of the Europa League.
Rashford has been in and out of fire in terms of criticism this season after having unsuccessful spells as a striker and successful ones as a left-winger.
His inconsistencies see him get a lot of stick despite scoring eight goals and grabbing three assists so far this campaign.
Marcus Rashford’s game by numbers vs. Partizan Belgrade:
92% pass accuracy
18/20 final third passes
6 shots (4 on target)
5 successful take-ons
2 chances created
1 big chance created
1 goalContinued his good scoring form. pic.twitter.com/kLB8ofpKfo

It’s difficult to criticise Rashford for his performance but he knows better than anyone he could’ve had a hat-trick.
Luckily Manchester United grabbed a few goals before he got his to make things comfortable but if Partizan netted before that, it would’ve been an ugly scene.
It’s clear Rashford should almost exclusively only start from the left-wing as he looks far more comfortable and has developed a good partnership with Anthony Martial.
Although he tracks back, he’s far more useful making diagonal runs forwards and staying high to help the team counter-attack.
