Jadon Sancho’s advisory team believes that a move to Manchester United would not serve as the best option for the 19-year-old, according to reports.
The 19-year-old has attracted the interest of Man United and other top clubs by scoring 15 goals and claiming 18 assists for Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga since the start of last season.
United have expressed keen interest in Sancho, with representatives from both clubs reportedly holding meetings over the summer.
However, according to the Daily Mail, the teenager’s advisors are ‘far from convinced’ that a move to Old Trafford would serve as the right move for Sancho.
This is the type of news which we all could have come up with, because there is nothing more obvious in this post-modern world than the fact that United post-2013 is a place where talent goes to die.
We should expect Sancho, whose contract at Dortmund expires in 2022, to seek a big-money move in the upcoming summer, with his valuation said to be over £100m.
The only way he would come to United would be through actually wanting to come to United, against all odds and available data. Perhaps the idea of returning to Manchester to play in a team where he is guaranteed a starting spot, unlike at Manchester City, makes sense.
