Manchester United star Nemanja Matic had previously hinted he felt Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was wrong for not selecting him to start before the international break but his performance in the Leicester clash showed the manager was right to do so.
The legendary Norwegian had stated before the match at Old Trafford that the experienced Serbian was chomping at the bit to play but unfortunately that didn’t show on the field.
Fans are almost in agreement over the need to drop Matic as much as possible and perhaps Solskjaer feels the same but is forced into playing him due to a lack of options.
After all, Paul Pogba was out injured and Fred was believed to be not completely fit just yet having missed a chunk of pre-season.
Andreas Pereira was shoved out wide and so Matic started but it appears he should probably not start again for a while.

Manchester United are, simply put, pretty bad at keeping the ball, particularly when pressed by the opposition.
Unfortunately almost every side they will face nowadays will press them and so they have to adapt.
The problem is United’s weak midfield but it could also be that they need to adapt to Solskjaer’s new tactics and so that will take time.
