Shock reports claim Conte could be sacked by next week

Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte could face the sack if his side lose on Monday night to Watford.

The Express claim that the Italian is under an increasing amount of pressure at Stamford Bridge.

Amid concerns about his long-term future at the club, the Blues have endured a slump in form, winning just two out of the club’s last nine games in all competitions.

The Blues struggled to beat Norwich in the FA Cup over two legs, as well as falling out of the Carabao Cup at the hands of Arsenal.

Chelsea are now six points behind Manchester United in second place and face a battle to stay inside the top four.

The 48-year-old is widely expected to leave the club at the end of the season, but reports now suggest that the Italian could be dismissed before the end of the campaign.

Reports have linked both Luis Enrique and Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri with the job in the summer.
