Crystal Palace star Aaron Wan-Bissaka is incredibly close to a move to Manchester United as he is reportedly set for a medical this week.
The Englishman has been edging towards a transfer for quite some time now but it appears there’s finally been a breakthrough in negotiations.
The youngster fits the bill in terms of what kind of players Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to bring in but there are question marks over the price-tag.
As good as Wan-Bissaka is, he’s still relatively unknown and untested at the highest level, meaning he should’ve came for cheap.
However, Palace are aware of what type of player they’re letting go of and so they have been firm in their high demands.
According to Goal, Aaron will be due at Carrington this week to complete a medical once he returns from international duty, securing a £55m transfer to Old Trafford.
Other reports claim negotiations are still ongoing but that doesn’t fit the narrative so far from most publications.
It’s believed the Red Devils improved their offer for Wan-Bissaka over the weekend so it’s possible Crystal Palace accepted and now the transfer has moved onto the next stage.
Fans will be hoping it can all be wrapped up quickly so that the club can move on to other signings that are also needed.
