Manchester United and Juventus have reached an almost complete agreement over a swap deal involving Paulo Dybala and Romelu Lukaku, leaving the deal entirely in the hands of the Argentine.
The two clubs held talks in Manchester on Tuesday night and struck a basic agreement regarding the possibility of a swap deal, with Lukaku keen on a move to Italy.
Dybala’s preference this summer has always been to remain in Turin but that may change if manager Maurizio Sarri signals that he is not part of his plans.
According to Sky Sports News, the deal is now entirely in the hands of Dybala, with the two clubs effectively reaching a complete agreement.

Among a litany of reports and social media claims from journalists, there is unison over the fact that United and Juventus both want this deal to be done, and that negotiations have been remarkably smooth compared to the protracted talks with Inter Milan. At a board level, on both sides, there is the exactly right momentum.
What remains unclear, and where reports have notably differed, is what Dybala thinks of it all. Some say he has no interest whatsoever; others say he has been convinced to move due to Sarri not fancying him; another interpretation is that it depends on money.
Either way, the buck stops or starts with “La Joya”.
