Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has seemingly gotten carried away as some fans have after the narrow win over Sheffield United.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men fell behind early but managed to turn the tie on its head thanks to goals from Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial.
The young Englishman’s brace was particularly impressive but the dangerous duo overall had a brilliant game.
Scholes was working as a pundit on the match that ended 3-2 but felt there were loads of positives to be happy about.
He also admitted there’s a possibility the Red Devils could challenge on the basis of one condition going their way.

Manchester United certainly have a strong starting XI but there are question marks over the squad depth and consistency in the team.
If Solskjaer can keep his injury-prone squad fit and firing, there’s no reason they can’t go on a long unbeaten run as they did last season.
The win over Sheffield United meant United jumped up to sixth in the league table with a game in hand that could see them climb to second if won.
A third of the season has now been played and Solskjaer will be hoping the other two thirds will consist of more consistency after a somewhat shaky start.
