Gary Neville believes that Manchester United will win another Premier League title before Liverpool do.
Jurgen Klopp’s side won the Champions League last season but fell short of Manchester City in the table, despite claiming a club-record total of 97 points.
Man United, who finished sixth last season, gave supporters hope of an improved campaign this time around by thumping Chelsea 4-0 at Old Trafford in their opening game of the 2019/20 season.
Speaking soon after the win, Neville expressed his belief that United will start winning one day – and that his day would come sooner than when Liverpool finally break their league title curse, which is now in its 29th year.

There is more to this view than what first meets the eye, I think. Liverpool are a terrifyingly explosive team, one capable of outplaying Barcelona over two legs, but when it comes to having the nuance and depth necessary to claim more points than Manchester City, nobody comes close.
The resources and pure strategy of that City team, now 11 years into its Abu Dhabi project, must be commended for the success – and potential for further success – it has been able to breed (even if it was bankrolled by the funds of a corrupt and anti-democratic oil state).
