Real Madrid will pay Chelsea a fee of £88.5 million up front for Eden Hazard, according to Matt Hughes of The Times.
The deal to take the Belgian to Madrid will also include a wide range of add-ons which, if met, could earn Chelsea an extra £41.5 million for their star player.
Hughes reports that Hazard has been informed of the agreement between the two clubs and that the deal will be finalised when the player returns from international duty.
The report says that the add-ons can be triggered by Hazard meeting a wide range of targets, such as appearances, goals and various trophies.
In total, the deal to take the Belgian to Madrid could total £130 million, which Chelsea will be glad to accept considering that Hazard has just one year left on his contract with the club and that he’s made it known that he wants to leave to join the Spanish giants.
