Chelsea clinched an important win on Sunday afternoon as they defeated Fulham 2-1.
The Blues headed into the match hoping to build on their midweek victory over Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge.
Their opponents, meanwhile, hoped to bounce back after losing 2-0 to Southampton on Wednesday. The loss saw Claudio Ranieri sacked, with Scott Parker taking interim charge of Fulham.
Chelsea started on the front foot and took the lead courtesy of a low strike from Gonzalo Higuain.
The hosts refused to back down, however, and levelled proceedings through Calum Chambers.
Maurizio Sarri saw his side show character, though, as they quickly regained their lead. Jorginho perfectly placed a shot from distance into the top corner.
Fulham probed the Blues’ defence and pushed for an equaliser, but their efforts were to be of no avail as the visitors took all three points.
Take a look at four findings for Chelsea following the win at Craven Cottage on Sunday.
