Chelsea will aim to turn their fortunes around in the second leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final tie against London rivals Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday night.
The Blues trial Spurs by one goal going into this match at Stamford Bridge.
Not scoring an away goal would have been a disappointment for Maurizio Sarri’s men, hence, the first thing they must avoid is to let Spurs score, at least before they turn the tie around.
The team has been short on goals in the past few games, and the need of a striker is imminent. Gonzalo Higuain is in London and is set to complete his medical, but Sarri stated that it would be mightily difficult for the Argentine to feature in tomorrow’s game.
In terms of the injuries, Chelsea will miss Ruben Loftus-Cheek, however, the rest of the squad is fit to feature. Andreas Christensen had a stomach issue while he was on the bench against Arsenal. It will be touch and go for the Dane.
