Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri is planning to spend around £200 million in January on numerous transfer targets, amid reports of a two-year transfer ban heading their way, the Daily Express report.
FIFA have recommended that the club receive a four-window transfer ban after a recent investigation into the Blues signing under-age foreign players.
If that is the case, Chelsea officials are willing to spend big in the New Year, with Sarri’s top transfer targets including wide man Christian Pulisic, along with full-backs Alex Sandro and Elseid Hysaj.
Pulisic is thought to be worth around £70 million, while both Serie A defenders are thought to cost the Blues £50 million, with Juventus’ Sandro being monitored by both Manchester City and Manchester United.
Chelsea are also thought to be weighing up a move to bring back former defender Nathan Ake from Bournemouth, with the 23-year-old having a £40 million buy-back clause in the deal that originally took Ake to the South Coast last summer.
No confirmation has been made over the possibility of Chelsea receiving a transfer ban, with investigations still ongoing by Fifa, however, Spanish giants Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Barcelona have all been punished in the past for similar offences.
