Manchester United could potentially be without Romelu Lukaku once the international break is over after he was deemed unfit for his nation.
The Belgian was not in particularly good form for his club before leaving to join up with his international squad.
The striker was crucial for United last season but has struggled this season despite initially starting it off relatively well.
Some fans have insisted Lukaku has been terribly isolated and has been unfairly criticised though his goalscoring record hasn’t been great of late.
The former Everton man did win his side a penalty against Juventus however and that could’ve been enough to turn his form around had it not been for an injury.
@RomeluLukaku9 did not travel with us today. He is still injured (hamstring) and will miss #SUIBEL. #REDTOGETHER #NationsLeague

A hamstring injury is never an injury that can be dealt with quickly so the news doesn’t read too well though there’s no confirmation on when he will be fit again.
The likelihood is that he will be missing for the Red Devils first match after the international break at the very least.
Jose Mourinho has been forced to experiment with different strikers in order to see who can play in Romelu’s position after dropping him.
Alexis Sanchez and Marcus Rashford have filled in so far with mixed results.
