Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has seemingly backed Jose Mourinho turn things around despite the recent loss to Juventus in the Champions League.
While fans are split over whether the Portuguese manager should be sacked or not, the Englishman is adamant he should remain in charge.
There have been plenty of rumours floating around, particularly since Zinedine Zidane is up for grabs but those have died down of late.
In fact, Mourinho’s opponent on Tuesday night, Massimiliano Allegri was even linked with the United job.
Scholes though believes the former Chelsea manager has the experience necessary to improve the club, even during dark times.
Scholes: “No I wouldn’t change him (Mourinho). He has the experience to turn it around. The last couple of weeks he’s been different. His attitude has been better towards players.” #mufc [BT]

The mood at the club has improved after recent results against Newcastle and Chelsea so the loss to Juventus is a bitter blow.
To make matters worse, Manchester United could potentially not qualify from the group stages of the Champions League if they’re not careful.
They will certainly need to beat Valencia and Young Boys once more if they are to stand a chance.
However, they first have to face Juventus again in a testing time for United and Mourinho.
The club could do with Scholes’ genius in midfield but instead the board can instead listen to him about keeping the manager on.
