Paul Pogba has sent a message of encouragement to his Manchester United teammates after drawing 0-0 with Valencia in the Champions League.
The Frenchman, subbed off in the defeat West Ham United, led the charge forward for Man United but, once again, found himself starved of any movement further up the pitch.
He was, at times, wasteful in possession and scratchy in the box – but this is a charge you could level at any player who started the game.
Pogba took to social media after the game and called on his teammates to “keep fighting” after the stalemate.

This kind of empty platitude from Pogba is, I suppose, the kind of thing Mourinho, pundits, yer da and pretty much most people would like Pogba to say.
Pogba speaking out, speaking honestly like he did after Wolverhampton Wanderers, is certainly the insurgent thing to do but at times like this perhaps it is also the only meaningful thing to do.
He will know, like his teammates, that what Mourinho is serving up as a tactician and motivator is mediocre at best, and only going to get worse. When you know that as a professional footballer, these tweets would have been posted through gritted teeth.
