Manchester United fans have plenty to worry about after their disappointing loss to West Ham on Saturday afternoon with some shocking statistics being revealed.
Unfortunately for Jose Mourinho the defeat wasn’t a slight hiccup in an otherwise perfect season as it’s proven to be quite the opposite.
If anything the match against the Hammers was the culmination of everything that’s gone wrong for United so far this campaign.
Mourinho’s bizarre decisions combined with the poor attitude from the players resulted in the 3-1 loss away from home.
The Red Devils were actually lucky to have even scored and maybe even more lucky to have not conceded even more.
United have conceded 12 goals in 7 games in the Premier League this season. It took United until December 17th to concede 7 league goals last season. #mufc [BT]

Manchester United’s defence has pretty much remained the same to the previous season so there’s no real excuse for the increase in numbers.
Perhaps it does come down to the players attitudes because Mourinho has made an attempt to protect his defence even more.
The former Chelsea man switched from a 4-2-3-1 formation to a 4-3-3 one as well as occasionally playing a five man back line yet the goals continue to leak in.
Jose’s not so confidence boosting comments about his centre-backs could also have made an impact as they’ve become more error prone than usual.
