Manchester United fans were incredibly frustrated with Romelu Lukaku’s performance vs Derby in the Carabao Cup.
The Belgian started the relatively low key fixture but failed to find the net despite the opportunities handed to him.
Supporters are losing their patience with Lukaku as he’s continuously proven himself to not be as clinical as needed.
The striker seemed to be in fine form heading into the season and even grabbed a handful of goals but should still be doing better.
Derby seemed the perfect opportunity for him to net a few easy goals but unfortunately he couldn’t do that for much of the game.

First season Lukaku looked like he could become world class but it’s bizarre but recently has returned to his ‘donkey’ days when he looks useless.

Romelu is United’s main goalscorer and not just because he’s the striker but because he’s heavily relied on.
The majority of the chances the club creates falls to the former Everton man so the need for him to be clinical is pretty desperate.
The Red Devils don’t necessarily create plenty of chances on a regular basis either so it’s even more pressure for him deliver.
Lukaku is even expected to convert half chances to really give his side the lead and he has to begin to show a more clinical nature.
