Confirmed starting XI vs Derby: Pogba not in the squad

Paul Pogba has been omitted from the match-day squad for Manchester United’s meeting with Derby County in the League Cup amid his latest row with Jose Mourinho.

The 55-year-old, according to reports, has stripped Pogba of the captaincy indefintely after recent comments regarding his playing style at Man United.

Elsewhere, Diogo Dalot makes his first start at Old Trafford, Ashley Young captains the side, and Anthony Martial gets a start in place of the under-scrutiny Alexis Sanchez.
