Jose Mourinho stressed that he could not fault the attitude of his players following Manchester United’s 3-1 defeat to West Ham United.
Man United started awfully, inviting pressure with their back three and conceding with just six minutes on the block before falling 2-0 down before half time.
They produced something of a response in the second half, with Marcus Rashford pulling one back, but soon after let Marko Arnautovic walk through and score.
Speaking after the game, Mourinho refused to fault the attitude of his players at the Olympic Stadium.
Mourinho, "I have no complaints about the player's attitude. Snodgrass came to the pitch with an incredible attitude, you need that genuine humility."

This was not a performance as lifeless as the Brighton defeat. There was, at the very least, a tangible attempt to get back in the game. But this idea of attitude, of not throwing in the towel, which Mourinho seems to be obsessed with misses the point entirely.
United’s tempo was, for a start, even worse than usual. The system used was cowardly, invited pressure from the hosts and caused greater dysfunction through the middle. Paul Pogba, you could see, was furious.
Attitude is not the problem here. That United are being constantly outplayed by lesser teams and conceding three goals a game is what Mourinho should be really worrying about.
