Man United fans react to Shaw's performance vs Leicester

Manchester United fans couldn’t hide their delight with Luke Shaw‘s performance vs Leicester City after he netted his first senior goal.

The Englishman had a fine game in the Premier League’s first match of the season and played his part in the 2-1 win.

Jose Mourinho was equally impressed with Shaw’s display so supporters will definitely be looking forward to seeing more of him in the left-back spot.

The youngster still has time on his side in terms of establishing himself in the starting XI and can still fulfil his destiny.

Luke will also still have some time before Ashley Young is fully match-fit so there’s hopes he can solidify his spot before that happens.

With Daley Blind gone and Matteo Darmian still expected to leave, Shaw has far less competition for the left-back spot than last season.

Mourinho has previously spoken about how he likes to have two options per position and it’s now finally that case so there’s no excuses left for the former Southampton man.

Luke’s had a decent pre-season under his belt, looks fit and appears to have finally fixed his attitude ‘problems’; if this isn’t his season then when will it be?
