Olympique Lyonnais President Jean-Michel Aulas has revealed that Premier League side Chelsea had “no interest” in signing French winger Nabil Fekir during the summer transfer window, according to a report on GFFN.
Fekir was heavily linked with a move to the Premier League and looked set to join Liverpool, only for the move to break down.

Lyon agreed on a £53m deal with Liverpool for Fekir but ultimately, the move failed and this alerted several other clubs.
However, Aulas claims that when he offered Fekir to Chelsea, they showed no interest in signing the Frenchman.
Aulas said:
In the beginning, when we thought about our summer transfer window and how to organise the future squad, we thought that he was practically gone. That’s why we have been able to adapt things.
We spoke with Chelsea representatives, and they had no interest at all in him. From then on, we realised we could change our plans (as Nabil would stay).
The Frenchman had a summer to remember as he won the World Cup in Russia. It was widely reported that with Eden Hazard linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge, Fekir could be the ideal replacement but according to Aulas, there was simply no interest from the Blues.
