Gary Cahill has reached an agreement in principle with Galatasary, according to Turkish outlet Fotomac.
The central defender has emerged to be surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge, with new manager Maurizio Sarri preferring a more modern breed of defender than the stoically traditional option of Cahill.
Various types of deals and destinations had been linked to Cahill, including loan opportunities at several Championship clubs.

However, it appears as though the 32-year-old will be heading abroad to get regular first team football this year.
The centre-half joined Chelsea in 2012, making the move from Bolton Wanderers.
With the Blues, Cahill won the Premier League twice, FA Cup once, League Cup once, Europa League once, and was a part of the famous Champions League winning side in 2012.
In six seasons in West London, Cahill has made 189 appearances for Chelsea, and was named club captain following the departure of John Terry.
A regular England choice as well, Cahill has received 61 England caps. Following the 2018 World Cup in Russia, the Dronfield-native retired from international duty.
