Gonzalo Higuain would reportedly prefer the idea of staying in Italy, amid interest from AC Milan.
Corriere dello Sport reports that both Milan and Chelsea are ready to offer the player a route out of Turin this summer.
Milan have seen their hopes of landing the Argentinian striker boosted, despite the 30-year-old being heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.
Despite holding a strong relationship with new Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri from their time together at Napoli, Higuain is said to be interested in a move to the San Siro, but a move to London is still not out of the question.
Higuain is keen to secure a deal similar to his current Juventus contract, worth around €7 million a year, something Chelsea have reservations about given his age.
The striker is set to leave the Old Lady, despite his successful stint there, following the dramatic arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid.
