Daniele Rugani will look to force through a move to Chelsea by telling Juventus he wants to leave the club.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, as cited on Football Italia, the Italian defender is ready for the step next of his career after falling out of favour in Turin.
Rugani, who struggled to hold down a place in the Juventus side last season, is expected to fall further down the pecking order in Turin following the return of Mattia Caldara, who has been on loan at Atalanta.
The player is being heavily linked with a €45 million move to Chelsea, but Juventus could still demand a higher fee from the Blues.
Rugani has already agreed personal terms over a five-year deal to move to Stamford Bridge, but the two clubs still need to compromise on a fee.
The Italian central defender is a player that Maurizio Sarri knows well, having worked with him at Empoli.
