Manchester United star Eric Bailly is reportedly perfectly happy at the club despite rumours claiming he’s suffered a breakdown in his relationship with Jose Mourinho.
The Ivorian was even said to be on his way out of the club after failing to see eye to eye with the Portuguese manager on his role at Old Trafford.
Bailly was reported to have been unhappy with the lack of match time he received over the course of a season in which Chris Smalling and Phil Jones started the majority of games.
The former Villareal man has had an unfortunate time with United so far having consistently experienced injury problems that have kept him from the starting XI.
Eric was widely expected to be the club’s first choice centre-back with Victor Lindelof eventually replacing him but things haven’t taken off just yet.

It’s likely that Mourinho will given the defender an opportunity to once more consolidate his spot in the starting XI this season though there have been rumours of a new centre-back joining the club.
It would perhaps make more sense to give Bailly the chance to re-establish himself and allow Lindelof a real shot at first team action given how he’s impressed at the World Cup so far.
