Manchester United star Jesse Lingard is set for a bumper new deal following his good form for club and country last season.
The Englishman has had his best campaign yet, one that may very well be considered his breakthrough one in terms of how he’s become a regular first team player.
Lingard for United at least made his debut a few seasons ago but was never truly considered a starting XI player until he stepped up the past year.
The versatile attacker saw a purple patch of form consolidate his place as an important, contributing player in the squad which then saw him rightfully gain a part in the international set up.
With England taking on Sweden next in the quarter-finals of the World Cup, it’s fair to say it’s been a memorable year so far for Jesse but it’s not over yet.

The reported money on offer would put him in line with the kind of wages other first team members earn showing just how important he’s become.
There’s no doubt Jose Mourinho’s plans for the new Premier League season will include Lingard whether it means he plays on the wings, behind the striker or in midfield if need be.
