Manchester United star Andreas Pereira has been discussing his future both at club and country level, revealing that for the time being he’ll keep his doors open.
The versatile attacker is capable of featuring for either Brazil or Belgium should he choose so and is touted for a bright international future.
Pereira was out on loan with Valencia last season and impressed enough for the Spanish club to attempt to sign him on a permanent basis.
However, United apparently didn’t want to sell and brought the player back following the end of his loan spell meaning he could be a part of Jose Mourinho’s plans for the next season.
Brazil and Belgium both play each other in the quarter-finals of the ongoing World Cup and it’s unclear which side Andreas will be rooting on.
Andreas Pereira: “Belgium? I keep both doors open for the time being. I was born in Belgium and I owe much to this country. Brazil is the land of my roots and family. Via Lukaku I have already heard that Martinez would like to speak with me.” #mufc [HBVL via Sport Witness]

If it’s true that Roberto Martinez is already working on recruiting the midfielder for Belgium then it could be too late for the Brazilians.
There’s currently plenty of talent in either squads with Pereira potentially having to work hard before earning a cap for either side.
However, he has the inspiration of one former Red Devil in Adnan Januzaj who is currently with the Belgium squad, having scored a winner against England in the group stages.
