Marouane Fellaini will not agree a new contract with Manchester United in the summer, according to the reliable Gianluca Di Marzio.
The Belgian’s contract expires at the end of June and has rejected two separate offers tabled by the club throughout the 2017/18 campaign.
Fellaini, much to the ire of Man United supporters, stated last month that he was in a “strong position” to acquire the financial package he wanted due to Jose Mourinho’s desire to keep him.
But AC Milan Sporting Director, Massimiliano Mirabelli, has told Di Marzio that the 30-year-old midfielder will not extend his future at Old Trafford beyond this season.

AC Milan have reportedly tabled an offer for Fellaini which aligns with his demands – namely a three year deal and a wage exceeding £100,000 a week – and his future is likely to be resolved before he travels to the World Cup with Belgium next month.
Mourinho has always stressed his desire to keep Fellaini, whose physical presence and unique attacking threat he values, but perhaps his unyielding injury record this season – which saw him miss the FA Cup final – and continued disputes over a new contract has forced the 55-year-old to abandon attempts to keep him at Old Trafford.
