Chelsea's transfer policy putting off long-term managerial target as he weighs up London move

Juventus manager Massimo Allegri has concerns about taking over at Chelsea following Antonio Conte’s public frustrations at the club’s transfer policy.

Yahoo reports that the Italian would be interested in taking over at Stamford Bridge, but at the same time, he has his reservations over a move to London.

Allegri is wanted by both Arsenal and Chelsea this summer, with Arsene Wenger and Conte both set to leave their respective posts.

Chelsea have long been linked with a move for Allegri and had shortlisted the Juventus boss before they appointed Conte.

The report claims that a move to Arsenal is also not so straightforward, with the club’s boardroom structure raising concerns.

Staying at Juventus is not out of the question for Allegri, but the 50-year-old would also like assurances on transfers to improve the Old Lady’s squad.

Juventus are set to win another domestic title this season but have been rivalled closely by Napoli.
