Jose Mourinho has confirmed that goalkeeper Sergio Romero is the only absentee for Manchester United ahead of Sunday’s clash with West Bromwich Albion.
The Argentine picked up a knee injury during a 6-1 friendly defeat to Spain and is expected to miss the FA Cup semi-final clash with Tottenham Hotspur next weekend.
Marouane Fellaini, Daley Blind and Phil Jones have all been sidelined through injury in recent weeks.
But the boss confirmed on Friday that the trio were set to return to the squad for Man United’s meeting with the bottom club on Sunday.
“Everyone is perfect, apart from Romero,” he said. “All the few players [who were injured] are ready to play.”
The futures of Fellaini, Blind and Jones are decidedly uncertain, but Mourinho will no doubt want to call on them as he approaches the final month of the season.
Exactly 30 days are left until United take on Watford for their last Premier League game of the campaign. And unlike last year, which saw Jose Mourinho desperately juggling with numerous injuries and the need to keep players fresh for the Europa League final, the boss has a full arsenal of outfield players at his disposal.
