Chelsea and Bournemouth are reportedly negotiating a deal for promising defender Dujon Sterling.
According to a report from the Daily Mail, the Blues are willing to let the youngster depart the club on loan in January, with Bournemouth waiting in the wings.
The 18-year-old is held in extremely high esteem at Chelsea and the club are evidently keen for him to venture out and gain first-team experience elsewhere.
Sterling recently put pen to paper on a new and improved deal at Stamford Bridge, which is due to keep him at the club until 2022.
It’s stated that Sterling is set to have offers from clubs in the Championship, but the opportunity to play for an established Premier League club is sure to be a tempting proposal for the full-back.
Chelsea are well stocked with options in the defensive area, therefore it is unlikely that Sterling will be provided with many first-team opportunities under Antonio Conte this season.
