Marcus Rashford treated supporters to an impressive attacking display during Manchester United’s 2-1 win over West Bromwich Albion on Sunday afternoon.
The Englishman displayed his attacking intent from the first minute, always looking to burst in behind West Brom’s back four, and provided a pin-point cross for Romelu Lukaku after 27 minutes – his fifth assist of the season.
Jose Mourinho’s men struggled to offer the same potency in the second half but Rashford’s energy with and without possession kept the hosts occupied right until the end.

Anthony Martial‘s superb form ever since the November international break has consigned Rashford to a secondary role in recent times and his reaction, just like his teammate earlier this season, has been emphatic.
Goals against CSKA Moscow and Manchester City served as reminders to Mourinho of the sharp, aggressive attacking threat he can offer, and his display at the Hawthorns served as another example of the maturity developed under the 54-year-old.
He made more appearances than anyone else last season and holds the unique title of being the only United player to be involved in every game this term. Mourinho clearly knows that this is a player who will grow best with as much time on the pitch as possible.
