Manchester United are reportedly set to make a big splash in the transfer market next year as they target four signings.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad has lacked depth all season long having only made three signings during the last summer.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Harry Maguire and Daniel James have all proven to be quality and necessary signings so far but many fans feel more transfers were needed.
Solskjaer himself had hoped for one or two more but was ultimately let down by his board as he later admitted they couldn’t get a Romelu Lukaku replacement over the line.
Ultimately the lack of more attacking signings has shown this campaign with United looking awfully thin of late as they sit in 12th place.
According to Goal, the Red Devils have targeted moves for Christian Eriksen and Mario Mandzukic during the winter transfer window and Declan Rice and Kalidou Koulibaly during the next summer regardless of which manager is in charge at the time.
The sensational Dane will have just six months left to his contract by that point so a move could be struct despite Tottenham’s difficult negotiations methods.
The rest will be tough to convince to join a sinking ship so Manchester United will have to turn their form around before attempting to recruit any of the above.
