Reports in Italy suggest that AC Milan are considering a January move for Arsenal loanee Mohamed Elneny (via Sport Witness).
He’s a player who has quickly been forgotten at the Emirates but Mohamed Elneny is starting to grab the headlines once more.
The Egyptian midfielder is currently on a season-long loan spell at the Turkish side Besiktas after moving in the summer.
However, the player is said to be unhappy at the club and is considering another move in the January window.
This is where this report comes in with news that AC Milan are considering a deal for the Arsenal man should one of their own players leave in the window.
The Serie A side is expecting midfielder Frank Kessie to join Premier League side Wolves which would leave a gap in the squad.
Elneny is said to fit the bill and has a ‘negotiable’ price of €15 million according to the Italian publication Gazzetta Dello Sport.
It’s a deal which Arsenal would certainly be in favour of. The Gunners were said to be keen on letting Mohamed Elneny leave on a permanent deal in the summer but couldn’t find a suitor. €15 million would be a good return for the player and contribute to transfer business next summer.
