Manchester United star Paul Pogba will reportedly be in need of extra rest before becoming available for selection once more.
The sensational Frenchman hasn’t hit the ground running this season with some fans believing he hasn’t been fully fit.
It appears they may have been right with Pogba said to have been playing through the pain for quite some time now.
Of course, United have also been poor so the blame isn’t solely on the former Juventus man as it’s hard for anyone to stand out at the moment.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has incurred the wrath of some fans for risking Pogba in the low-key clash against Rochdale and some of that criticism has been warranted.
Bad news from @ManUtd. “following a specialist's opinion, Paul Pogba requires a period of further rest and conservative treatment for the foot injury he sustained during the game against Southampton in August. Updates will follow in due course.”

Hopefully Pogba will be allowed to recover fully this time so he can lead an otherwise underwhelming Manchester United side to success.
The academy product is a key part of Solskjaer’s system and so ensuring he’s fit is as important as anything else.
Perhaps in Pogba’s absence Fred can make enough of an impact to gain a regular starting XI role.
This would allow the World Cup winner to be pushed further forward into the number ten role so that he could cause more damage than usual.
