Manchester United fans have highlighted Brandon Williams as perhaps the one positive out of the clash against Partizan Belgrade.
The young prospect featured from the start as a left wing-back and played admirably, winning his side a penalty that was subsequently converted by Anthony Martial.
It ended up being the only goal of the match and had it not been for Williams, who knows where United would’ve been in terms of results.
It’s Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s first away win since the famous victory over PSG so in truth it doesn’t matter how they got all three points so long as they did.
Hopefully the Red Devils can pick up a head of steam now and Williams will be hoping he can keep up his performances to remain in the starting XI.
Brandon Williams has comfortably been Manchester United's Man of the Match.

Brandon Williams is absolutely class. A proper talent rising through our academy. Looks so confident for a 19-year old. Just signed a new contract recently. My Man of the Match against Belgrade. pic.twitter.com/ood1fztdTd

Really like the look of Brandon Williams. Fast, fearless and is so confident in his abilities. Could watch him fly up and down that left side all day.

Brandon Williams is United’s best option at left-back and his age shouldn’t change that. Another great performance from him tonight. Garner grew into it and was no worse than Matić. Overall, though, that was shocking.
No idea what the plan was.

Brandon Williams wins Man of The Match hands down.
Absolutely light years ahead of anyone else on the pitch.
Superb from the teenager. pic.twitter.com/j4w0D99CM8

As long as Brandon Williams is fit, he should our main starting left-back. Luke Shaw is simply injury prone and he's very inconsistent to be the number one left-back at the club.

With Luke Shaw‘s injury history and the fact he’s been absent for much of the season so far, it makes sense if Solskjaer’s head has been turned by Williams.
The academy product hasn’t played much yet but he’s done enough so far to earn himself a spot in the first-team.
If he can continue taking advantage of Shaw’s injury, there’s no reason why he can’t outright take the former Southampton man’s place.
