Manchester United Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly becoming irritated with Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial for not scoring poacher-type goals.
The duo have both statistically enjoyed fine starts to the season with two goals and an assist each despite the overall poor results.
United destroyed Chelsea 4-0 in their first fixture but have since drawn disappointingly with Wolves and 10-man Southampton as well as losing at home to Crystal Palace.
Rashford came in for heavy criticism after the Southampton game in particular as he missed multiple chances to give his side the lead.
Solskjaer is said to be displeased with both players despite their statistics reading impressively so far and has them working even harder in training.

In training, Solskjær has been insisting the forwards rehearse near-post runs and create in-game scenarios where Rashford and Martial score more poacher's goals #mulive [the athletic]

It’s true that none of the Manchester United stars tend to score poacher-type goals and it’s something they can certainly work on.
The players often work the ball out wide well now but when the cross comes in there’s mostly only ever one static player to aim for.
United’s stars fail to make runs to the near post and far post with the striker normally marked out of the attack.
Runs from deep and out wide from the other flank should see more variety in their play as they cause confusion in opposition defences.
