Manchester United are reportedly not too concerned over Juventus’ interest in Paul Pogba with fans potentially resting easy.
The Frenchman is one of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s better players and losing him would be an unnecessary distraction from a crucial summer transfer window.
The midfielder would likely bring in a lot of money for any transfer but the difficulty in finding his replacement is just not worth it.
It’s believed Juventus’ interest is real but that United are instead more worried over Real Madrid’s potential ability to conclude a deal for Pogba.
The academy product previously had a successful time with the Italian giant but it seems there’s no real belief a return will happen this summer.
According to ESPN, the Red Devils insist Paul isn’t for sale and don’t believe Juventus can afford him even if he was. Either way the player is said to prefer to play for Zinedine Zidane.
Even the Spanish side are said to not have the necessary cash for the transfer and wages, leaving Solskjaer in the driving seat.
However, if Zidane offloads a host of players as some reports claimed, then it’s quite possible they could then move for Pogba.
Until that happens though, it appears Manchester United can breathe easy for now.
