Chelsea have confirmed that Eden Hazard has left the club to join Real Madrid, in a deal believed to be worth £88million.
In a statement released by the club, they confirm the Belgian has ended his seven-year stay at Stamford Bridge, in a deal that has been expected for some time.

It was very much a matter of when and not if Hazard would complete his move to Spain, where he will now be working with his boyhood idol, Zinedine Zidane.
Hazard has been very public in his admiration of the Frenchman and a move seemed inevitable following his recent return to the dugout.
Similarly, Hazard was very open with the Chelsea supporters after the Europa League win against Arsenal, in which he admitted that ‘I think it’s a goodbye’, as he signed off with two goals to leave the Blues with a European trophy.
During his time at the club he made over 350 appearances and scored 110 goals for the Blues.
