What a frustrating way to end a frustrating year for Arsenal Football Club.

The Gunners were denied the final three points of the Premier League season by referee Mike Dean who awarded West Brom a hugely contentious penalty to equalise at the Hawthorns.

Calum Chambers was the apparent offender in an incident which left both Arsene Wenger and many of the Arsenal players furious.

The Gunners had led via a James McClean own goal after an Alexis Sanchez free-kick took a massive deflection off the winger.

But it wasn’t to be for the Gunners after Baggies’ frontman, Jay Rodriguez converted from the spot to force a draw in the final match of 2017.
