Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer unfortunately only had bad news to share about Anthony Martial ahead of the clash against PSG.
The Norwegian will be taking his stars to Paris for the second leg of the round of 16 in the Champions League in the hopes they can secure an upset.
United are already losing 2-0 having been outclassed at Old Trafford weeks ago but there are those who still dream.
Solskjaer actually has a fantastic record away from home and will be daring his team to do all they can to get to the quarter-finals.
Martial has been missing from the Red Devils starting XI of late due to the injury he suffered and it appears as though he won’t be involved against PSG either.
According to Manchester Evening News, Ole said: “No, I don’t think we can risk it. He [Martial] has not been training yet, so I don’t think so.”
Manchester United have been keeping up the wins in the Frenchman’s absence but there’s no doubt he adds definitive quality to their line-up.
He will certainly be sorely missed in what is sure to be an exciting clash but at least it could mean he’s better rested for arguably more important fixtures ahead.
United badly need their first-team players back as the race for a top four spot in the Premier League heats up.
