Manchester United supporters have reacted enthusiastically to the prospect of facing Barcelona in the Champions League quarter-finals.
The Catalan side, managed by Pep Guardiola at the time, beat Man United in the Champions League final in 2009 and 2011.
Should United progress to the semi-final, they will face either Liverpool or Porto, with first leg taking place at Old Trafford.

In one season, United will have hosted Juventus, Paris Saint Germain and Barcelona at Old Trafford. Cristiano Ronaldo and Kylian Mbappe have already visited. The arrival of Messi is something different, though. Very different.
Since *that* performance at Wembley in 2011, Messi has eviscerated Chelsea, Tottenham, Arsenal, and Manchester City on several occasions, in this competition. It is time to see what United – and specifically Ander Herrera, who will know his job already – can do against the most gifted footballer the world has ever known.
More broadly, the prospect of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, 20 years on from 1999, coming back to the Nou Camp in the Champions League is football romance at its very best. We should be scared, yes. We should also be very excited.
